Research invitation for ECE teachers

Kia ora,

Our names are Hazel Woodhouse (University of Waikato) and Fiona Westbrook (Auckland University of Technology), and we are both based in our respective Schools of Education.

We are inviting early childhood teachers and kaiako to take part in a short research survey exploring how ECE teachers use social networks and online platforms in their professional lives.

The study looks at which platforms are used, how these spaces support connection and professional learning, and whether there have been recent shifts away from platforms such as Facebook and X (Twitter).

Consent is provided through the survey link. The survey takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete, includes mostly tick-box questions, and participation is voluntary and anonymised.

We would love to hear from you.
