Few ECE Stakeholders Support Seymour’s ECE Regulatory Cuts

Minister David Seymour’s support for changes to early childhood education (ECE) regulatory requirements comes primarily from a minority within the sector.

While he has cited widespread backing from the ECE community in communications with fellow MPs and the media, analysis of feedback reveals that support is concentrated among one group: service providers and investors whose primary motivation is generating profit or funding other ventures through ECE services.
