When: Thursday, 1 May 2025 – Friday, 2 May 2025

Where: Southern Cross University, Gold Coast Campus. The campus is located at Coolangatta, just 400 metres from North Kirra Beach and adjacent to the Gold Coast Airport (Jetstar provides affordable direct flights from NZ to the Coolangatta airport so its really accessible!). If you are looking for accommodation, the closest is Rydges Gold Coast Airport.

Registration: Registration is $200 or $150 for students.  Registrations close Thursday, 10th April 2025, at 5pm. Register here.

The WOW Conference is an opportunity to come together and (re)awaken our collective wisdom and reaffirm a sense of community, agency, creativity, and commitment to co-creating a more equitable, just, caring, and welcoming world for children, families, and the early childhood sector. 

Proposals to present research are invited. The call for abstracts for workshops, research presentations, and roundtables is open until March 17, 2025, 5pm.

Registration is AUD$200 or $150 for students.

Twenty one ECE services have had their licences downgraded for breaching regulations on four or more occasions in the last decade – and 33 services have spent more than a year on a provisional and/or suspended licence, an analysis by the Office of Early Childhood Education of nearly 10 years’ worth of data shows.
